To commemorate winning the Worldwide Nature Group of Artists Conservation Award, Pollyanna is proud to announce the release of a limited edition print 'Amazing Grace'. "I was working on this canvas when the news came through from WNAG that I had won the award" Pollyanna said "so it seemed the most appropriate choice for a special commemorative limited edition print." The painting, shows a Golden Eagle in flight over a Scottish Loch.

Pollyanna commented "I feel that it captures the essence of conservation for so many people - a beautiful golden bird soaring free in our own country. No matter how many times you have seen a golden eagle, the experience of witnessing this beautiful majestic species in the wild takes your breath away. We have a special responsibility to protect this magnificent and iconic bird that is forever a symbol of our wild landscapes"

The breeding population of golden eagles in Scotland was an estimated 422 pairs in 1993. The most recent survey revealed that the UK population is now up to 431 pairs. However, golden eagles still face several threats, mainly from deliberate persecution

Proceeds from sales of this print will go to the Pollyanna Pickering Foundation for International conservation work
Pollyanna hopes the image of the Eagle will serve to raise the profile of our beautiful environment and the importance of conserving all its wonderful species for our own and future generations.
